Does anyone have any suggestions on modem or hard drive? I tried the hard boot, did not help, did diagnostics on it and it said contact service. Can not use HD from previous Thinkpad, it has a blue screen. I have another (identical) Thinkpad (monitor was damaged) and removed the modem and installed it in one that I am trying to get running. Checked Device Manager and there is no modem listed.
An error came up and said: Driver Installation Failed: Could not find the MODEM device.

Which means I can not install Access Connections for Wi-Fi either. Tried to install driver for modem, Conexant Rd02-D110 (driver 7fmb14ww). I have a Thinkpad z61t that came with a wiped hard drive and no installation discs. Installed XP professional with sp1 right away and then upgraded to sp3.
